Baía do Peixe Terreiro do Paço

Located in one of Lisbon’s most iconic spots - Terreiro do Paço - this new restaurant from the Baía do Peixe Group welcomes guests. At the entrance, a spiral staircase leads to the upper floor. There, the interior space, wrapped in a sea of blue, warmly embraces its visitors. The vaulted ceiling gains depth, highlighted by the giant fishes affixed above. On the walls, white, shiny, hexagonal tiles, reminiscent of fish scales, maintain the signature style of Baía do Peixe’s interiors. Outside, the open terrace engages with its surroundings, taking full advantage of the beautiful location and the charm of Terreiro do Paço. Here, the project relied on simplicity and respect for the existing space. Sometimes, “doing less” is also architecture!
